Italian actor and known Inter fan Fabrizio Bentivoglio has called for Mauro Icardi to explain himself to his Nerazzurri teammates.
Icardi was recently stripped of the Inter captaincy and has sat out of Inter’s past four games with it now anybody’s guess as to when he may return, if at all.
“There are rules that need to be followed in the dressing room,” Bentivoglio, who was part of Inter’s academy when he was younger, said in an interview with Sky Sport.
“I think he must now return to the locker room and not necessarily say sorry but at least give an explanation to his teammates for the situation.”
Bentivoglio concluded by recalling an earlier situation this season that required for an Inter player to apologise.
“Lautaro Martinez’s father said things that he should not have but Lautaro apologised and that was that. Nobody asked him to exclude himself but simply just apologise.”
