Mauro Icardi has continued his recent trend of cryptic social media posts with a post to both Instagram and Facebook.
The striker recently lost the Inter captaincy and has not featured in any of Inter’s last four matches with tension between himself and the club seemingly at an all-time high for a multitude of reasons.
In recent weeks Icardi has posted some cryptic quotes to his social channels, one of which he even incorrectly attributed to Mark Twain.
He has followed these posts up by posting “F R E E D O M” as a caption to an image of him wearing a hat bearing the same word which many have interpreted to have a deeper meaning.
