Ivan Rakitic has reaffirmed his commitment to Barcelona amid alleged continued interest in his services from Inter.

The Croatian midfield maestro has drawn links to Inter in recent months with Inter allegedly looking to add a world class midfielder to their ranks in the Summer transfer window in a bid to take the club to the next level.

“I love living in Spain, unfortunately I can not ask for another passport because I already have two, otherwise I would also ask for a Spanish one because I am happy here and my family is well too,” he remarked in an interview with DAZN.

“My daughters are doing well here in Barcelona, it is close to Seville too so it is perfect for me to stay here.”

Rakitic aside, Real Madrid duo Luka Modric and Toni Kroos have also been mentioned as possible signings for Inter.

Inter showed a strong interest in Modric last Summer but Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez was not up for doing business and even reported Inter to FIFA over their alleged contact with Modric although Inter were found to have done nothing wrong.
