Keita Balde is very close to making a return to first team action after weeks out injured according to a report from Sky Sport.

The Senegalese winger has been out of action since January having sustained a thigh injury in training but taken ‘great strides’ in his recovery in recent days and will soon be available to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti for selection again.

Prior to his injury, the 23-year-old was appearing to be hitting form and it will no doubt be hoped that he can quickly get back up to speed on his return.

As for Mauro Icardi, who has been missing for the past five games, he is continuing to undergo physiotherapy and his condition will soon be re-evaluated.

The Argentine striker has been out of action since Inter’s first leg Europa League match against Rapid Vienna in mid-February citing pain in his knee as the reason behind his absence although Inter have performed tests on him and they showed no damage.
