Mauro Icardi is set to be snubbed by Argentine manager Lionel Scaloni for the upcoming friendly matches at the end of the month according to a report from El Dia.
The Albiceleste are due to play Venezuela on the 23rd and Morocco on the 26th to help them prepare for this Summer’s Copa America and the report states that Icardi is now destined to miss the competition in Brazil.
The Inter ace has been out of action for three weeks having complained of pain in his knee and has missed Inter’s past five games as a result.
Inter put the 26-year-old through testing and the tests showed that there was no difference from the tests they carried out at the start of the season which has led to media speculation that he is feigning injury due to being upset/angered by the decision Inter took to remove the captain’s armband from him.
