Journalist Paolo Condo has shared his thoughts on the ongoing saga between Inter and Mauro Icardi.

Icardi lost the Inter captain’s armband a few weeks back and has not played since with him citing knee pain behind his absence.

“The Icardi situation is a situation I struggle to see a way out of,” Condo remarked in an interview with Sky Sport 24.

“The likes on social media are childish and are not the actions of someone who is supposed to be a great professional.

Icardi continues to be stronger than Lautaro, that is clear, but that has not been a problem as Lautaro has still scored goals while Icardi has been missing.

“The club must find a solution to this case because it certainly can not go on until the next transfer market or Icardi will be worth €30 million because he has stopped playing.”

He concluded the interview with a quick word on Inter midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

“Nainggolan is almost back at his best on the field after a problematic few months.”
