According to a report from FCInterNews.it, as things stand Inter intend to take up their purchase option on Primavera talent Eddy Salcedo come the end of the current season.

The 17-year-old has been impressive since his Summer arrival from Genoa scoring 10 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions. In his 1509 minutes on the park, Salcedo has also tallied a single assist.

He arrived on a year-long loan worth €2 million and Inter have an option to turn his stay permanent at the club for €8 million plus bonuses which could take the total cost of the deal, including the loan, to around €15 million.

The report goes on to state that if Inter are to take up the option to sign him, the Rossoblu have an option to counter the Nerazzurri but will have to pay a sum of €10 million in order to bring the Italian youth international back to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
