In the event that Max Allegri and Juventus decide to go their separate ways at the end of the season after years of unprecedented domestic success, Inter will not be the only club who could go in for him according to a report from Sport Mediaset.

The Nerazzurri face potential competition from Real Madrid and Premier League pair Chelsea and Manchester United but a lot will of course depend on Allegri himself.

If the parties do decide to split, there is no guaranteeing that Allegri will want to go right back in to management.

So far he has been quiet on his future although Sport Mediaset suggest he may opt for a sabbatical year, similarly to what Pep Guardiola perhaps most notably did after leaving Barcelona and prior to joining Bayern Munich in recent years.

Allegri has been in charge of the Bianconeri club since the Summer of 2014 and he has led the Turin club to four Serie A titles, as many Coppa Italia’s and two Supercoppa Italiana’s on the domestic front. He has also taken Juventus to the Champions League final twice but has fallen at the final hurdle on each occasion.
