There could be further new investment in to Inter in the near future from Interspac, a group of rich Inter fans who have been studying how they can assist current owners the Suning Group according to a report from Calcio e Finanza.

High profile Italian economist Carlo Cottarelli is the president of the group – that was set up last Summer and has 12 other members – and he will be behind the first approach that could come shortly, the report explains.

This potential new investment will follow the recent investment made by Hong Kong based private investment fund LionRock Capital who acquired former club president Erick Thohir’s minority 31.05% stake in the club back in January.

Il Sole 24 Ore report that Interspac’s investment will not involve the purchase of any shares in the Nerazzurri. Instead, Interspac will simply provide the club with funds that will be prove particularly useful for the transfer market among other things.
