Report States Icardi Said He No Longer Wanted To Speak With Inter Management In Yesterday’s Meeting

Corriere della Sera have claimed that in yesterday’s meeting, Mauro Icardi said that he no longer wishes to speak to any of those who were involved.

After months of growing tension, Icardi was recently stripped of the Inter captaincy and he has not played since claiming to have pain in his knee although Inter’s medical tests have shown that there is no problem.

He has missed the past five games and looks on course to miss a sixth with him not expected to be in the squad for Thursday’s Europa League match with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Inter president Steven Zhang will soon be back in Milan and could sit down to discuss things with the disgruntled Argentine.

Corriere della Sera further report that Icardi also made an attempt to reintegrate himself into the dressing room where he and his agent have both claimed there are no problems but as per the report, there was no real sign of openness from his teammates.

The club may wish to find a solution shortly especially with them reportedly considering a change in manager as the report concludes that possible future Inter managers Antonio Conte and Max Allegri have stated that Icardi remaining at the club is required for them to join.
