Over 60,000 tickets and counting have been sold for Inter’s match this weekend at home to SPAL, the club have confirmed in the lead up to the game.

This Sunday’s fixture falls on Inter’s 111th birthday and as a result there will be numerous celebrations in and around the ground, one of which being a full stadium choreography that will colour the stadium both black and blue.

Going in to this weekend, Inter are fourth in the table some 24 points ahead of 16th placed SPAL – who will be out for revenge having lost the reverse fixture 2-1 back in October at their Stadio Paolo Mazza home.

Prior to Sunday’s match, Inter have the small matter of a Europa League round of 16 first leg clash to play against Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt tomorrow.

A positive result in Germany could further boost the crowd for Sunday’s match that is certainly shaping up to be a special one.
