Journalist Matteo Marani has commented on Inter’s decision to publicise that there was a meeting between the club and disgruntled striker Mauro Icardi and his agent earlier today.
“It is not a formal thing to write about a meeting to find a solution in the interests of the parties involved but I think it is important that they have done this because there is the risk that this situation will have long ramifications,” he said in an interview with Sky Sport 24.
Marani then praised Inter for how they have went about things and insisted that it is time for things to be resolved.
“Inter, in the first part, played things very well in terms of how they communicated that something had happened. However, it is also true that the hour has come to find a solution to the problem otherwise Inter risk opening new conflict within Inter as an environment and that could hurt things really bad.”
