Yesterday’s meeting between Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta and Mauro Icardi will not be the last and the pair will soon meet again according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

Icardi could begin working again with the rest of his teammates from tomorrow and no longer wants to be painted as a problem and is therefore looking for a truce.

The report goes on to state that Icardi has already taken initial steps toward mending he damaged relationship with his teammates.

On Tuesday he had lunch with several of his Inter teammates, including the Eastern European contingent who are reportedly most unhappy with him and his recent actions.

Icardi lost the captain’s armband around a month ago and will not get the armband back and the parties will see at the end of the season if they can continue on together or if they will need to separate and go their separate ways.

The report concludes that his wife/agent Wanda Nara is confident that a solution can be found to the saga and is convinced that Marotta can find that solution.
