Inter defender Cedric has insisted that he and teammates are ‘very confident’ ahead of tonight’s Europa League match with Eintracht Frankfurt.

“We have studied our opponents just like they have studied us,” the Portuguese told broadcaster Sky Sport.

“We are very confident and this is important that we are preparing well for the match.

“We will have to be at our best in order to beat them but I am sure that it will be a good game for us.”

The Portuguese was then asked about the loss of Radja Nainggolan to injury yesterday and seemed just as confident of Inter’s chances even without the Belgian being there to give a helping hand.

“Radja is a fantastic player,” he continued.

“He has always shown that and he has so much experience, but he is not going to be available but I am sure that we will do well even in his absence.”
