Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta, didn’t mix his words and used strong tones when asked about the continuing fallout between former Captain, Mauro Icardi and the Nerazzurri.

The former Sampdoria and Juventus man was quizzed by reporters on his exit from the Lega Serie A headquarters where he was accompanied by fellow Inter Director, Alessandro Antonelli. Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, is a guest on Sport Mediaset’s weekly magazine show, Tiki Taka, when asked if he watched the show last night Marotta responded: “I don’t watch it. It’s on too late and we start work early so we have to be up early for 7am.”

When asked when the club would be sitting down to talk with Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi again, Marotta responded in no uncertain terms: “the time has come to stop with the same old questions about Mauro and Wanda.” It would seem that Inter’s hierarchy have decided to put a lid on the so far very public fallout between the two parties whilst they await to find a solution.
