Mauro Icardi does not deem reconciliation with his Inter teammates as a necessity according to a report from La Repubblica.

The 26-year-old was last month stripped of the Inter captaincy and has not featured for the club since with the official given reason for his absence being a knee injury.

His last appearance for the club came on February 2 as Inter beat Parma 1-0 away from home and it remains a complete mystery as to when he might return if at all with a move away from the club at the end of the season appearing a real possibility.

He has trained separately and underwent physiotherapy away from his teammates in recent weeks and is yet to offer any sort of apology for the recent events that have cast a huge shadow over the club at an important moment during the season.

This season Icardi has made 28 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri in which he has scored 15 goals and tallied two assists.
