Criscitiello: “Inter CEO Marotta Has Won More Than Spalletti Has On The Playstation”

Journalist Michele Criscitiello has examined the current situation at Inter in which he was full of praise for Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta.

“The elementary school revivals, in a company like Inter, are not allowed,” he wrote in his editorial for TuttoMercatoWeb.

“Spalletti is consistent, at least, with himself. If he said he did not want to talk more about the Icardi case, then, he won’t.”

Criscitiello then discussed Marotta, who arrived at Inter at the end of last year.

“Respect for one of the most successful executives of the last ten years must never be lacking. Marotta has won more than Spalletti has on the Playstation. Marotta has his limits and his defects like all of us. The Icardi case had been badly managed before he arrived from Turin.”

He then spoke on Icardi and whether he could return for this Sunday’s Milan derby.

“The Argentine would help this team a lot, even if he has not played for several weeks and his condition really should be evaluated.”
