Icardi Continued To Train Separately To Inter Teammates Today

Inter striker Mauro Icardi again trained separately to the rest of his Inter teammates at training today according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport.

The Argentine, who last month was stripped of the captain’s armband, has trained apart from the rest of the group for a number of weeks now with him officially being out with an injury to his right knee since mid-February.

Sky Sport go on to state that the 26-year-old is likely to remain sidelined for this Thursday’s Europa League round of 16 second leg match-up with German side Eintracht Frankfurt and will in all likelihood also miss this coming Sunday’s Milan derby due to the inflammation.

This season Icardi has made 28 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri the last of which came on February 9 and Inter ran out 1-0 winners away to Parma. In 2374 minutes on the park, Icardi has netted 15 goals and tallied three assists.
