Corriere dello Sport have revealed that Napoli are ready to make a move for disgruntled Inter striker Mauro Icardi.

Icardi and his wife/agent have shown a strong desire to remain in Italy so to avoid uprooting their young family and for this reason, should Inter sell him, the only feasible options in Italy are Napoli or arch-rivals Juventus.

As per the Rome based newspaper, the Partenopei are ready to put a very important offer on the table for Icardi while there is talk of a possible swap deal with Juventus which would see Paulo Dybala come to San Siro and Icardi head north to the Bianconeri.

In the event that the latter scenario transpires, the report adds that Inter would go after another striker and have a shortlist of players in mind.

Edin Dzeko, Luka Jovic, Karim Benzema, Romelu Lukaku and Duvan Zapata have all been mentioned and could well be the new man leading Inter’s line in the not too distant future.
