Inter’s Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan spoke with media outlet Eleven Sports Belgium where he revealed the reasons for leaving AS Roma in the summer and joining Inter.

“I had a disagreement with Monchi. He didn’t behave in a professional way toward me. During the summer he didn’t tell me that he wanted to sell me, then he sent intermediaries to Turkey to sell me without me knowing anything. I certainly made mistakes too, but if you tell me man to man that the club wants me out, fine. In that moment I knew my time with Roma was over. I’m very blunt and sincere, if I had remained with Roma after what they did to me, I could have unleashed a world war every day.”

Nainggolan continued by talking about his change of lifestyle since turning 30 years of age.

“I didn’t give much importance to my attitude off the pitch, but now I realize at my age it is no longer possible to do that. Along with the club, we decided to map out a detailed plan, because I do know I did something wrong. For example, it’s about healthy eating and they now have more control over my diet.”

“I’ve lost weight, feel good and more comfortable in myself. It’s possible my lifestyle also contributed to my injuries. I’ve cut down on the smokinIt’s not easy, but it works.”
