Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has shared his thoughts and feelings about Inter’s 3-2 triumph over city rivals Milan in Sunday night’s Milan derby which meant Inter completed the double over Milan for the first time in seven season.

“The game went well and I am happy. People said beforehand that we were the underdogs, but we never believed that,” he insisted in an interview with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV.

“We proved that we are superior to Milan in both games, but not just that, as for years we have earned more points than them in Serie A.”

He concluded the interview by looking ahead to the Nerazzurri’s next game against Lazio at end of the month which will be another crucial game for Champions League qualification.

“Now let’s enjoy this victory, recharge the batteries and get ready for Lazio in another tough game after the break for international duty.”
