Andrea Pinamonti, who is on loan at Frosinone from Inter, has stressed the need to chase your dreams in life.

“In football, as in life, there is always a ladder to climb up,” he explained in an interview with Sky Sport show ”La Giovane Italia’.

“The important thing is to believe in your dreams. My family is very close to me and always follows me. This year I am very far from them, but as often as they can my relatives come to see me.”

As part of the interview he also recalled his first Serie A league goal.

“I came on for the final two minutes to replace Ciofani. I was tasked with defending but a minute after coming on I scored a goal on the counterattack.

“I was always told that even if you have just a few minutes, you have to face them as if you have the full ninety minutes.”

He then reflected on his memorable long range strike against Fiorentina.

“We were down 1-0 with about two minutes to go. On the field you can sense when you can hurt your opponent, and I knew it right away that we could overturn the game, or at least not lose it, and when I got the ball 30 metres out, I just shot and scored.”
