The international break has arrived at just the right time for Inter who have had to deal with several injuries in recent weeks a report from Tuttosport details.

One such player who has picked up an injury is midfield general Marcelo Brozovic and Inter hope to be able to prevent him from attending national team duty with Croatia due to this, the report claims.

Brozovic’s game was once again ended early last night as the pain returned in his thigh, the same pain that caused him to come off during the first half of Inter’s 2-0 win over SPAL last Sunday.

Inter do not wish for his injury to get any worse than it is, despite tests showing last week it was not serious.

The 26-year-old midfielder has made no less than 35 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri this season in which he has scored two goals and tallied a single assist in just over 3000 minutes on the park.
