Italian Politician Emanuele Fiano slammed Inter fan base in the Curva Nord for displaying what he has described as a “Neo-Nazi” and “shameful.”

The Curva displayed a banner in honour of an ultra of Varese, Daniele Belardinelli, who died during clashes between fans on 26th December last year when Inter played Napoli in Serie A. Clashes in the nearby vicinity of the Stadio San Siro see fans of rival teams clash in what seemed to be a pre meditated attack which resulted in the death Belardinelli.

Emanuele Fiano who represents the Democratic Party took to social media to vent his anger saying: “the curva of Inter exposed a banner dedicated to the Neo-Nazis of blood and honour, the group of Belardinelli that ambushed Napoli fans on 26th December 2018. Today I will submit a request to the minister Matteo Salvini to find out how it was possible to authorise this shame.”
