Inter will accept offers of €80 million for troubled striker Mauro Icardi according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

After the events of the past month or so, Inter’s management are well aware that they will struggle to find a club willing to pay €110 million for the 26-year-old.

Icardi and the club are now further apart than ever before and a separation in the Summer now seems almost inevitable.

As per the report, Real Madrid have already performed some initial surveys on the Argentine as they continue to hunt for Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement.

Icardi has made a total of 28 appearances across all competitions this term, the last of which came on February 9 in the 1-0 away win over Parma.

He has scored 15 goals and tallied three assists in the process and it still remains to be seen when, if ever, he will make a return to action for the club.
