According to a report from FCInterNews.it, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur had a scout present at San Siro on Sunday night in order to take a closer look at Inter winger Ivan Perisic.

Spurs showed an interest in signing the Croatian at the end of the January transfer window but no move came to fruition in the end.

They are eager to strengthen their attack at the end of this season and it cannot be excluded that they could come back in for him.

Inter are understood to be demanding a €35 million fee to let the 30-year-old depart the club but Spurs deem this to be too high a figure.

Perisic’s Inter future remains ultimately up in the air but he could well leave in the Summer to chase his dream of playing in the Premier League.

This season he has made no less than 35 appearances for the club and has contributed five goals and tallied seven assists in the process.
