Inter are one of a host of clubs on the trail of FC Sochaux’s Lucien Agoume who has been labelled as the next Paul Pogba in his native France, according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Inter have been following him for some time and had thought about making a move last summer but other moves were considered more urgent.

Contact between the club and his representatives has continued and there is a feeling that Inter will make a fresh attempt to sign him this coming Summer.

It will not be easy for Inter though with a host of others in the shape of Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus and Arsenal all also keen on signing him.

The report goes on to state that Inter hope to acquire the 17-year-old for between €4-5 million but it remains to be seen whether or not this will be enough.
