Ahead of Inter striker Mauro Icardi’s reported return to training tomorrow after over a month of self-exclusion, Sport Mediaset, who first broke the news, have published a video addressed to him where former Inter player Riccardo Ferri has sent him a message of support.
“I was in some ways hard on you but I did it with my heart and I spoke to you as I would have done with my son. Now I wish you all the best and I hope you can be a protagonist in the team’s achievements.
“This decision, however late it is, is certainly one of great responsibility on the part of the attacker and the people of the club led by Marotta.
Ferri concluded his message: “Lautaro did very well and some extraordinary things but having Icardi means having a greater attacking potential and having more possibility of achieving the final goal, qualification for the Champions League.”
