For the first time in over a month, Inter striker Mauro Icardi this morning trained alongside his Inter teammates, a report from Sky Sport 24 details.

The Argentine, who has been absent with a knee injury, arrived early for training at approximately 9:40 local time and soon after took part in his first group session since February 13th.

He participated in the warm-ups with teammates but when it came to taking to the field for ball work, Icardi returned to training separately to help his condition that has taken a hit in his time out.

Icardi is now officially available for selection to Inter manager Luciano Spalletti again but it remains to be seen how Spalletti will use the 26-year-old Argentine from here until the end of the season. Sky Sport 24 conclude their report by stating that it cannot be excluded that he could be part of the squad for Inter’s match with Lazio in 10 days time.
