Ahead of Inter-Lazio in 10 days time, Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo has revealed he convinced that he and is teammates can qualify for the Champions League despite sitting six places off of the top four.
“Lazio will go to the Champions League, if we have a great April. In April there will be fundamental matches for us and we will have to play every three days,” he told reporters on the sidelines of an event at the Istituto Comprensivo Nino Rota.
“We have to present ourselves in May with all the necessary cards to make a great season finale.
Parolo then spoke on the Aquile’s upcoming game with the Nerazzurri and Inter striker Mauro Icardi possibly returning to action.
“We are ready to face Inter and focus on our goal.
“He is a great striker but we have shown that we know how to hurt Inter in the past. We are already preparing for the match and we are convinced that we can make up some points.”
