Real Madrid are interested in signing Inter striker Mauro Icardi in the Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish newspaper Marca.

Los Blancos have already held talks with the Argentine’s wife, and agent, Wanda Nara with regards to a possible switch to the Spanish capital.

As per the report, Madrid could possibly sign Icardi for a fee in between €50-80 million, this due to the recent events that have damaged his value slightly.

Former Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic could also be included in any potential deal as a sweetener to soften the blow Inter will be dealt in losing Icardi who has over 120 goals for the club.

This season 26-year-old Icardi has made a total of 28 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri in which he has scored 15 goals and tallied three assists although he has not played for the club since February 9, officially due to a knee injury.
