Inter goalkeeper Tomasso Berni has shared his thoughts on Inter’s Derby Della Madonnina victory among other topics in an interview with Inter TV.

“We’ll enjoy this break with a smile. We’ll wait for our teammates to return from their national teams and we’ll focus on training well.

“We enjoyed what was a great derby – a really special and unique match. It was a game worthy of just three points but after a painful defeat in the Europa League and subsequent elimination, it was fundamental to win and put in a great performance. It was a great feeling to get all three points.”

Berni then went on to discuss Inter’s next game against Lazio: “We know that it’ll be a really difficult match because Lazio are a top team.

“They’ve got great individual players and a coach who’s well prepared. Considering our previous meetings, it’ll be a difficult encounter but we’re Inter and we’re prepared to target the win and solidify third place.”

He concluded on discussing the difference playing at San Siro will make, particularly with a number of big matches coming up at home.

“Playing at Siro is fundamental for us. We truly need all of our fans so we’ll certainly make the most of their support.”
