Inter club doctor Piero Volpi has shared his delight at how the recent Inter Medical Meeting went, an event that he set up himself.
Hundreds of medical teams and professionals attended the event that took place for the second consecutive year that saw them discuss various topics relating to sports medicine.
“We are very satisfied with the organisation of this second meeting, which was also attended by medical teams comparable to ours, such as Manchester City and Paris St. Germain,” Volpi explained in an interview with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV.
He added, “We are now focused on organising next year’s meeting.”
Volpi then spoke on the international break and its effects on the Inter squad and how he hoped those on international duty return.
“The international break is a useful break for those staying in Appiano. We hope to have those on national team duty return as they left.”
