Inter remain undecided when it comes to making a decision over whether to remain at San Siro and renovate or build a new stadium entirely according to a report from Milan based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter’s city rivals and San Siro’s other tenants Milan meanwhile are absolutely set on the idea of building a new state-of-the-art stadium and demolishing San Siro.

Milan are against the idea of renovating San Siro due to the fact it would in all likelihood mean that another stadium would need to be found to play in while the work took place, much like Tottenham Hotspur have had to do while their new ground has been built.

However, unlike for the Premier League club, there is not a Wembley stadium nearby that the Milanese clubs can utilise for their games. Instead, Milan wish to continue to use San Siro whilst the new ground is built from scratch.

Inter are yet to make a decision but will need to do so soon as the clubs are due to meet with the Milan council to share their stadium project by the end of next month.
