Bayern Munich are strongly interested in signing Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa according to a report from Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The German giants are looking for a player who can replace veteran wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, who are both 35-years-old and have contracts that expire at the end of the current season.
Chiesa however, as per the report, would prefer to remain in his native Italy, where there is plenty of interest in his services.
Inter, Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Milan are all reportedly interested in signing the 21-year-old, who is one of Italy’s brightest prospects.
This season Chiesa has made 31 appearances across all competitions for La Viola in which he has scored 12 goals and tallied eight assists in 2629 minutes on the field.
The 11-time full Italian international is currently under contract with the Florence club through to the end of the 2021/22 season and reports suggest that Fiorentina want €100 million for him.
