German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund have identified Inter defender Dalbert as a possible signing in the Summer transfer window according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Dortmund manager Lucien Favre has specifically requested the signing of the Brazilian who he worked previously with at Nice.

Dalbert joined Inter from Nice in the Summer of 2017 but has largely failed to live up to the hype that surrounded him when he signed for the club in a deal worth circa €20 million.

Since his arrival, the 25-year-old full back has made just 25 appearances across all competitions 11 of which have come this season.

This season he has managed just 853 minutes on the field, in which he has scored one goal and tallied one assist.

The report from TuttoMercatoWeb goes on to state that if BVB are unsuccessful in their pursuit of Dalbert, they will redirect their attention toward Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez who has played in Germany previously with Wolfsburg.
