Radja Nainggolan is targeting a comeback for Inter for this weekend’s match against Lazio according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian midfielder has been out injured for a number of weeks with a calf injury and training this week will be decisive for his personal desire to return having missed Inter’s past four games in all competitions.

By his own admission in recent months, he has never had so many injuries in a single season like he has had in his debut season for Inter.

He has recently realised the need for change and has massively decreased the number of cigarettes he smokes and has also changed his diet.

The Nerazzurri staff have prepared a nutrition plan for him and the chef prepares meals for him to take home with him.

This season Nainggolan has made 26 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
