Several clubs are interested in Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio but according to a report from FCInterNews.it, his priority remains Inter.

It is for this reason that contact, which has been both direct and indirect with the 47-year-old has not went much further than that.

Roma have identified him as their preferred candidate to succeed the recently departed Monchi, who terminated his contract in order to return to former club Sevilla.

The report also reveals that there has been a London based Premier League club that have tested the waters with Ausilio who has worked for Inter since 1998.

Shortly, Ausilio will meet with the rest of the Inter management and FCInterNews.it report that they will discuss a contract extension.

Ausilio is currently contracted to the club until the end of the 2019/20 season and could extend for either a year or even two, which would bring his contract expiry date in line with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta’s.
