Exequiel Palacios is hopeful that he can secure a move to Inter according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The River Plate star has been courted by Inter for a number of months while Spanish giants Real Madrid are also strongly interested.

He is currently sidelined by injury which has prevented any clubs from making moves for him as they await for some guarantees about his physical condition.

Inter have had some informal chats with people over the move but have not made any official move or formally told his representatives that they want to bring him to the club.

Real on the other hand seemed to have tied a deal up prior to the Copa Libertadores final back in December but his injury and non-EU player restrictions has seemingly put a stop to that particularly move.

The 20-year-old Argentine youth international has a €15 million release clause in his current contract with the Argentine giants who he has made 16 appearances for this season.
