Kwadwo Asamoah is at risk of missing this Summer’s African Cup Of Nations due to clashing with national team manager Kwesi Appiah according to a report from ghanasoccernet.com.

The pair are understood to have come to a disagreement over where he should be playing in the team and he left the national team camp early as a result which enabled him to participate in training with Inter today.

Asamoah would like to play in midfield but Appiah is adamant that Asamoah instead plays at left back, where he has played almost exclusively for Inter this season following him Summer arrival.

With few games left until the African Cup of Nations commences in the Summer, there is little time for Asamoah and Appiah to settle their differences. Failing to settle them will in all likelihood see Asamoah excluded from the squad.

The 30-year-old is a 70 time international for Ghana and only recently returned to the national team after being out of it for four years.
