Inter have identified Luka Jovic as the player they wish to replace Mauro Icardi,who will leave the club in the Summer transfer window, with according to a report from Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

The Nerazzurri face competition from a host of top clubs across Europe for the in-form Serbian’s signature including Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

As per the report, the German side have already tabled Eintracht Frankfurt an offer for Jovic which is believed to be around the €56 million.

Jovic is valued by the eagles at €60 million, meaning he would be well within Inter’s budget if they were to sell Icardi, who Mundo Deportivo believe is valued at €90 million.

This season the 21-year-old striker has scored 22 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions, seven goals more than Icardi has scored in his 28 appearances to date for Inter.  Jovic’s game is about much more than simply scoring goals as he has tallied seven assists to Icardi’s three.
