Radja Nainggolan is eager to make a return to action this weekend as Inter take on Lazio in a game that could prove crucial for each side’s Champions League qualification aspirations according to a report from Tuttosport.

The Belgian midfielder has been sidelined since the start of the month with yet another injury to his left calf and has missed Inter past four games.

It is not just Nainggolan who is wanting to return but for obvious reasons Inter manager Luciano Spalletti also wants him back for the end of the season.

“Nainggolan has experienced a troubled season, he has dealt with several injuries that have affected his performance. Spalletti hopes to have him, if not in top condition, at least in good shape for the season finale,” their report reads.

Nainggolan has made 26 appearances across all competitions this season following his Summer arrival from fellow Serie A side Roma.

In 1690 minutes on the park, he has scored four goals and tallied three assists.
