River Plate starlet Exequiel Palacios has offered himself to Inter although Inter are focusing on other players for the midfield according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

The Argentine youngster looked set to complete a switch to Real Madrid but the Spanish clubs signing of Eder Militao has led to that move being put on hold.

The Rome based newspaper reports that Palacios would cost interested parties no more than €15 million due to him having a release clause of that value in his current contract.

Inter are targeting a big name for the midfield with the names of Ivan Rakitic, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos all being mentioned lately.

Palacios’ name certainly can’t be ruled out when it comes to him potentially being an alternative option but he is not the only alternative.

Some reports have linked Inter with a move for Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele while others have linked them with bringing Mateo Kovacic back to the club.
