This weekend represents a crucial one for Inter’s aspirations of qualifying for the Champions League in the eyes of Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter will face Lazio at San Siro on Sunday and could open up an 11 point gap and as good as eliminate Lazio from Champions League qualification contention with a win.

However if Lazio are to win, the gap will be cut to five points and Lazio could cut that gap even further if they are to win their game in hand against Udinese.

Inter beat Lazio on the final day of last season to secure Champions League football for this season and the Biancocelesti will no doubt be out for revenge.

Elsewhere in the race for qualification, fourth place Milan face a trip to ninth place Sampdoria. Fifth place Roma, who are four points out of the Champions League places will meanwhile play host to second place Napoli.
