According to a report from Corriere della Sera, Milan are not against the conditions set out by Milan mayor Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Sala with regard to the Milan council owning the new stadium.

Sala yesterday insisted that owning the stadium, like they do the current stadium, would be the only condition that the Milan council would impose on the clubs.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to report that Inter are meanwhile remaining silent on the matter.

The two clubs signed an agreement to work together on a stadium project, whether that be remaining at the current San Siro and renovating it or building a new stadium altogether.

Milan’s intentions in this regard have been pretty clear from the offset with them favouring the new stadium route while Inter have only recently seemingly began to favour this idea having been undecided for quite some time.

The two clubs will present the Milan council with their plans in the coming weeks.
