Inter’s Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini stopped by Italian broadcaster DAZN at half time in the Serie A clash away against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genova’s Marassi district.

The former Atalanta player, who scored the opening goal was very pleased with the first 45 minutes by the Nerazzurri agreeing that it was almost a perfect half when asked.

“We took the match to where we wanted it, controlling it and managing it really well. Now we have to move forward like this in the second half.”

Gagliardini was asked why he ran to Joao Mario to celebrate his goal to which he revealed that: “I needed to because he has recently lost his father and since he has returned he has demonstrated to have a great force in him.”

Inter lead Genoa 2-0 after the first half after a goal from Roberto Gagliardini as well as a goal from Mauro Icardi from the spot.
