Inter Winger Matteo Politano: “We Want The Three Points To Create A Distance To AC Milan”

Inter’s Italian international winger Matteo Politano, stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts going into to tonight’s Serie A clash against Genoa, at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genova’s Marassi district, with kick-off scheduled for 21.00 CET.

Politano began by underlining the importance to win and focus on the task at hand rather than redeeming themselves after the disappointing loss this past weekend against Lazio.

“More than an angry Inter, it is an Inter that wants to take the game by the scruff of the neck. We are here to take home the three points and to distance ourselves a little bit in terms of points, from AC Milan.”

“We know that this will be difficult but today we will give everything we have. We are fully focused in today’s match, what is important is today’s match, nothing else.”

In conclusion Politano underlined, that even if Inter were to suffer bookings today which would mean several players being suspended, it doesn’t matter because the squad is deep.

“If someone is suspended we have other players who are ready to take their spot.
