Jose Mourinho would be easy for Inter to bring in as manager but Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is unconvinced according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Mourinho is a club legend at Inter having led the club to a famous treble during his stint in charge around 10 years ago and as per the report he would be very happy to make a return to the Nerazzurri.

The Portuguese manager has been out of work since the end of last year when he was removed from his position at Manchester United and he could well reduce his salary demands.

Antonio Conte is currently Marotta’s preferred option due to the fact that they worked together successfully at Juventus.

The report from TuttoMercatoWeb goes on to detail that Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is another possibility to succeed Inter manager Luciano Spalletti at the end of the season but it would take €40 million to get him out of his Spurs contract.
