Kwadwo Asamoah was happy with Inter’s performance in the goalless home draw versus Atalanta this evening, he admitted in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport post-match at San Siro.
“We knew that it was going to be a difficult game, initially we started well but we couldn’t score and we lowered the tempo,” he said.
“It was a good performance from us against a difficult opponent. In the first half we created chances but not enough important ones because they defended well. They too had a good performance but now we have to think about the next one.”
He concluded by looking ahead to next weekend’s trip to lowly Frosinone.
“We must prepare well for Frosinone, today they won in Florence where it is not easy. They will play at home against us and they will want to win. We must be ready and we will see what happens.”
