Inter midfielder Borja Valero shared his thoughts and feelings in an interview with Sky Sport after Inter were held to a goalless draw at San Siro by Atalanta.
“Obviously we are Inter and we must always look to win and we can never be satisfied for a draw at home,” he remarked in an interview with the Italian broadcaster.
“It was a nice day to put other points on the board but it wasn’t to be. Atalanta are a strong team and they are all over you for the whole game and it is hard to keep up the same tempo for the whole 90 minutes.
He continued, “Unfortunately we did not succeed in the end as we missed several chances.”
Asked about Inter’s goals for the remainder of the season, he concluded: “We hope to win as much as possible and qualify for the Champions League which would be an important achievement for us.”
